CONTEST DATES: May 24, 25 - Sept.27, 28, 2008..-waiting period (weekends only)
If there are no waves, the waiting period will be extended.
CONTEST SITE: Honoli'i Beach Park, Hilo
CONTEST HEADQUARTERS: Orchid Land Surfboards, 262 Kamehameha Avenue, Hilo, HI 96720. Phone: 935-1533
WAITING PERIOD: All contestants will call the headquarters each Friday morning, to check on surf conditions. There will be no refunds if you miss your heat. All alternates must pay an entry fee. No double entries.
DIVISIONS: Men's Open, Women's Open, Open Longboard (9' & Over, HLSA Regulation), and Open Body Board. Contest limited to first 80 entries. Contest limited to Hawai'i Island residents only.
ENTRY FEE: Forty Dollars ($40), non-refundable, to be paid in cash, cashiers check or money order. NO PERSONAL CHECKS. Includes t-shirt. Payable to: BIG ISLAND PRO-AM SURFING TRIALS. Entry deadline: May23, 2007 . Late entries will be charged an additional ten dollars (total $50). NO EXCEPTIONS.
PRIZES: 10 round trips from Hawai'i Island to Oahu, plus 10 entries to a PRO-AM EVENT on the North Shore of Oahu, October 2008 thru February of 2009 (each entry is worth $150.00) Over $2000 in prizes.

ENTRY AND LIABILITY WAIVER FORM
This form waives your rights to recover damages in case of an accident. It also releases all sponsors, officials, and contributors from any liabilities due to injuries or death.
READ AND UNDERSTAND
As a participant in this event, I promise to inspect the contest site and assure myself that the site is safe for surfing, and further agree that I will not surf in the tournament unless I am satisfied that the area and conditions are safe for surfing purposes. I will further read and comply with all the rules and regulations, note existing weather conditions, and so agree that I voluntarily assume all risk from conditions related to use of the contest site by myself or others. In consideration of your acceptance of my entry, I, intending to be legally bound, hereby, hold harmless and release and forever discharge, the sponsors, the administrators of the event, the STATE OF HAW All, the County of Hawaii, Quiksilver Sportswear, Kamaaina Nissan, Orchid Land Surfboards Inc., 94.7 KWXX-FM, all officials connected with the event, from any and all liability for injuries, death, and/or damages whatsoever, arising from my presence or participation in the above described event. I attest that I am physically fit and have sufficiently trained for this event and do hereby grant the sponsors and officials such release as described herein. I also assign to the promoters the exclusive, commercial use of all photographs and photographic reproductions, television and motion pictures taken of me during the surfing competition. I acknowledge that I have read and understood all of the aforementioned.
