Big Island Surf Report for Wednesday, September 1st, 2010

Northeast tradewinds of 10 - 15 kts.

The 26th. Annual Quiksilver-Kamaaina Motors Big Island Pro Am Surfing Trials have been postponed till September 4th. & 5th., waves permitting.

Northeast Shore 1- 2ft.
Beach breaks  & Points from Hamakua to North Kohala 1- 2ft.
Northwest Shore Flat
Southwest Shore 1- 2ft.
Southeast Shore 1- 2ft.

Surf heights are based on “face value” i.e. 1-2’: Ankle-to-knee high; 3-4’: Waist high; 4-6’: Chest high-to-overhead, and so on.
