Big Island Surf Report for Wednesday, April 16th, 2014

High Surf Advisory

A HIGH SURF ADVISORY is in effect for all Hawaiian waters exposed to EAST swell.

Small Craft Advisories are in effect for all Hawaiian waters exposed to the Easterly tradewinds of 15 - 25 kts.

Northeast Shore 4 - 6ft. plus
Beach breaks  & Points from Hamakua to North Kohala 4- 6ft.
Northwest Shore Flat
Southwest Shore 1 ft.
Southeast Shore 4- 6ft.
 

Low Tide

Sunset

6:40 PM

Surf heights are based on “face value” i.e. 1-2’: Ankle-to-knee high; 3-4’: Waist high; 4-6’: Chest high-to-overhead, and so on.
